Keyword stuffing is one of the reasons due to which Google can put a penalty on the website. Many SEO experts consider the optimum keyword density to be 1 to 3 percent. Using a keyword more than that could be considered search spam. Consider the following formula to adjust the keyword density in an article:
Keyword Density= No. of time Keyword used/ Total no. words in an article* 100
Keyword Density= No. of time Keyword used/ Total no. words in an article* 100
